Adam Roat is

a Philly raised/Brooklyn based filmmaker and an NYU graduate in Film and TV production. After falling in love with all things cinema at the age of 10 and subsequently devouring every library DVD he could get his hands on, Adam soon discovered the creative side of filmmaking and hasn’t stopped since.

He has experience across a wide range of the filmmaking landscape, from short films and TV pilots, to music videos and commercials. Over the years, he has had his work screened at festivals across the country and has won awards for both writing and directing. Adam’s narrative work often reflects the ways people try to communicate, or more frequently, fail to communicate with each other, usually through a darkly comedic lens.
